CONSTITUTION PARTY OF WYOMING'S

SELVIG FOR U.S. HOUSE

Riverton resident Marissa Selvig received the Constitution Party of Wyoming’s nomination for the state’s sole seat in the U.S. House of Representatives April 2 at the party’s state convention in Evanston.

“I am beyond excited that it is finally official,” Selvig said of receiving the nod. “I am even more excited for the voters of Wyoming to have a real, constitutional choice in this race.”

The race for Wyoming’s U.S. House seat has already seen much contention, as scores of Republican hopefuls created

a crowded field trying to unseat incumbent Liz Cheney following her vote to impeach President Donald Trump in 2021, a week before his term expired.

With only empty promises and the likelihood of more of the same Washington, D.C., “swamp filling” from any successful Republican challenger to Cheney, Selvig and the Constitution Party of Wyoming offer the state’s voters an opportunity to support a return to the Constitutional principles that built the nation.

It's time the working class represents the working class. For far too long, the elite political class has used WE THE PEOPLE as nothing more than tax slaves to advance their agenda and well-being. We must say "no" to new taxes, and repeal all that are not used for the benefit of Wyoming citizens.

The radical left's educational agenda must be banned from our schools, and certainly never funded with our tax dollars. Our 2nd Amendment rights must be protected from federal attempts to erode it.

I am a common man who believes common sense can resolve most of the issues we face today. We need to return to common law. With so many laws on the books these days, it is hard to find true justice that represents the individual against the powers that would rob us of our freedoms that so many patriots have died to protect.

The three pillars of the Constitution Party are Integrity, Liberty, and Prosperity. These are principles I put a lot of value in. With integrity we can stand for liberty which bring prosperity.

CORE ISSUES WE MUST ADDRESS right now are election integrity, right-sized government, education choice, preserving our rights and a return to honesty with dignity.
